Getting Connected
Everything you need to get your internet up and running. If something doesn't make sense, call us โ that's what we're here for.
What You Need
Outdoor Antenna
Our crew mounts this on your roof or a pole outside. It talks to our tower and brings the signal to your property. Do not move or adjust this yourself โ if it needs to be re-aimed, call us.
Power Supply / POE
A small box that powers the antenna through the same cable that carries your data. Plug it into a grounded outlet. The status light should be green โ if it's red or blinking, call us.
Router (Your Own)
Any standard WiFi router works โ Netgear, TP-Link, whatever you already have. Connect it to the POE port on the power supply using an ethernet cable. We don't provide the router, but we can recommend one if yours isn't up to the job.
What You Don't Need
No DSL line. No dial-up. No satellite dish. No cell signal booster. Our connection is completely separate from all of that. If you have any of those things already, you can ignore them.
How to Connect
Find the POE box
It's the small box our crew left near your entry point โ usually a garage, utility room, or inside the house where the cable comes in. It has two ports: one for power, one for your router.
Run an ethernet cable to your router
Use a cable from the "POE" or "DATA" port on the power supply to the WAN/Internet port on your router. A standard Cat5e or Cat6 cable works. Cable length matters โ if you need to go more than 300 feet, let us know.
Plug in and wait
Power on the POE supply first, then your router. Give it two minutes to boot up. The light on the POE box should go solid green.
Connect your devices
On your phone or computer, find your WiFi network name (printed on the bottom of your router) and connect. Enter the password โ also on the router label. You should be online.
Check Your Service Status
Signal Light on the POE Box
Everything is working. Your connection is active and healthy.
Connecting. Wait 30 seconds โ if it stays blinking, power-cycle the POE box (unplug 10 seconds, plug back in).
No signal. If power-cycling doesn't fix it, call us.

Troubleshooting
Internet is slow
Try these in order:
- Restart your router (unplug 30 seconds, plug back in)
- Move closer to the router โ walls and distance weaken WiFi
- Disconnect other devices and see if it's better on just one
- If it's always slow, your router may be old โ check when it was made
- Call us if it doesn't improve
Internet keeps dropping
Check the POE box light first. If it's green:
- Power-cycle the router
- Make sure the ethernet cable is snug at both ends
- If it drops at the same time every day, tell us โ it could be a tower issue
If the POE light is red, call us right away.
Can't connect to WiFi at all
- Is the router powered on? Check the light on the router itself.
- Is the POE box green? If not, check your power outlet or try a different outlet.
- Try connecting a device with a cable directly to the router (if you have a spare cable).
- Forget the WiFi network on your device, then rejoin with the password.
- Call us if nothing works.
The POE light is off
- Check that the power cable is fully inserted into both the box and the wall.
- Try a different outlet โ confirm the outlet has power with something else (lamp, charger).
- If it still won't light up, the power supply may be bad. Do not open the box. Call us and we'll swap it out.
