What areas do you serve?

We cover towns and zip codes across Southwest Wyoming — including several communities in Sublette, Lincoln, Sweetwater, Uinta, and Fremont counties. Our coverage depends on line-of-sight to our tower infrastructure, so some addresses within a general area may not be serviceable. The best way to know is to enter your address on our pricing page.

How do I check if my address is covered?

Use the address checker on our pricing page — enter your street address or zip code and we'll tell you within seconds. If you're outside our current coverage area, you can add yourself to our waitlist and we'll contact you when service becomes available.

What if my address isn't covered yet?

Join our waitlist — it takes about 30 seconds and costs nothing. We expand our network as demand grows, and waitlist subscribers are the first to know when service arrives in their area. There's no obligation.

Is SWWWC available in my town?

Our service is wireless, not wired — we don't need to run physical cables to your property. That means we can serve addresses that DSL and cable companies can't reach. If you're in a rural or semi-rural area of Southwest Wyoming, there's a good chance we can connect you. Email us with your address and we'll confirm.

What speeds do you offer?

Three plans, all with no data caps:

  • Standard — $59/mo — 25 Mbps down / 10 Mbps up
  • Pro — $99/mo — 50 Mbps down / 25 Mbps up
  • Business — $179/mo — 100 Mbps down / 50 Mbps up

All plans include unlimited data. See the pricing page for the full feature comparison.

Will I actually get those speeds?

Your actual speed depends on line-of-sight from our tower to your antenna, distance, and local interference. Most customers get within 80-90% of the advertised speed under normal conditions. We don't oversubscribe our towers — we keep subscriber counts low so the network stays fast. If you're consistently getting far below your plan's speed, call us and we'll investigate.

Is there a data cap?

No. None of our plans have data caps, monthly limits, or fair-use policies. Stream, download, video call, game — as much as you want.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes — upgrade or downgrade anytime with no penalties. Upgrades take effect the following billing cycle. Just email us and we'll update your plan.

What's the difference between upload and download?

Download speed is how fast you receive data (loading websites, streaming video, downloading files). Upload speed is how fast you send data (video calls, posting photos, working in the cloud). Most residential internet plans prioritize download heavily. SWWWC plans give you meaningful upload speeds — important if you work from home, use video conferencing, or back up files to the cloud.

How does installation work?

Our crew comes to your property and installs a small outdoor antenna — usually on the roof or a pole — that connects to our tower via line-of-sight radio. They run a single ethernet cable into your home to the POE power supply, which also connects to your router. The whole install takes 2-4 hours. Standard and Pro plans include standard installation; Business plans include a dedicated site survey and technician.

How long does it take to get installed after I sign up?

Most installs happen within 5-10 business days of signing up, depending on scheduling. Business plan customers get priority installation. After you email us, we'll confirm your address, schedule a window, and send you instructions to prepare your property.

Do I need to be home during installation?

Yes — someone 18 or older needs to be present for the installation. The crew will need access to your roof or exterior walls, and you'll need to be there to approve the router placement inside.

Is there an installation fee?

Standard and Pro installations are included in your plan. Business plans include a dedicated site survey at no extra charge. We don't charge setup or activation fees on any plan.

What if line-of-sight is blocked at my property?

Wireless broadband needs a relatively clear line-of-sight to the tower — trees, mountains, and large buildings between your antenna and our tower can block the signal. Our crew does a pre-install survey to confirm your property is serviceable. In rare cases where the signal is marginal, we'll tell you upfront rather than leave you with a poor connection. If we can't serve your address, there's no charge.

Do you provide the router?

The Pro plan includes a router at no extra cost. Standard and Business plans require your own WiFi router — any standard dual-band router works (Netgear, TP-Link, etc.). We can recommend one if you need help choosing. Your router age matters — if it's more than 5 years old, it's probably limiting your speed.

What equipment do I need?

We provide the outdoor antenna, the POE power supply, and the ethernet cable running to your house. You provide any WiFi router — or we include one with the Pro plan. You don't need a DSL line, satellite dish, or any phone service.

Can I use my own router?

Yes. Any standard WiFi router works — it connects to the POE port on our power supply via a standard ethernet cable. We recommend dual-band routers from Netgear, TP-Link, or similar. Avoid very old routers (pre-2019) as they may not support the speeds you're paying for.

What does the POE box do?

Power over Ethernet — it's a small box that both powers the outdoor antenna and carries data over the same ethernet cable. It has two ports: one for power (from the wall), one for data to your router. The status light should be green when everything is working.

What do I do if the POE light is red or off?

First, try power-cycling it: unplug for 10 seconds, plug back in, wait 30 seconds. If it stays red or off, check that the outlet has power (try something else in the same outlet). If it still doesn't work, email us or call — we'll swap the power supply out at no charge. Don't open the POE box.

Is there a contract?

All residential plans (Standard and Pro) are month-to-month with no long-term commitment. Cancel anytime with 30 days notice — no early termination fees. Business plans can be billed monthly or annually at a discount.

How does billing work?

Bills are monthly, billed on the same date each month starting from your install date. We invoice by email — payments are made via bank transfer or credit card. Billing questions? Email us.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfers and major credit cards. Business customers can arrange invoicing. Contact us to set up your preferred payment method after signing up.

Can I get a referral credit?

Yes. SWWWC customers can sign up for our referral program — you'll get a unique AIR-XXXXXX code to share. Every time someone signs up using your code, you earn a $25 credit on your next bill. There's no limit.

What happens if I'm late on a payment?

We contact you by email before any action is taken. Accounts past 30 days may see service paused. We work with customers on payment issues — the sooner you contact us, the easier it is to sort out. Call or email before a small problem becomes a big one.

How do I get help if something breaks?

Start with our subscriber guide — it covers the most common issues and how to fix them. If that doesn't resolve it, email us or call. We know rural internet and we know this area — most problems can be diagnosed in a few minutes over the phone. Business plan customers have access to a 24/7 support line.

What are your support hours?

Weekdays: 7 AM – 7 PM  |  Weekends: 8 AM – 5 PM

Emergencies (outage): 24/7 — call anytime. If you're having a service outage at 10 PM on a Sunday, don't wait until Monday. Call us.

Internet is slow. What do I do?

Try these in order:

  1. Restart your router (unplug 30 seconds, plug back in)
  2. Move closer to the router — walls and distance weaken WiFi
  3. Disconnect other devices and see if it's better on just one
  4. Check the POE box light: green means the signal is healthy
  5. If it's always slow, your router may be old — check when it was made
  6. Call us if it doesn't improve
Internet keeps dropping. What do I do?

Check the POE box light first. If it's green:

  1. Power-cycle the router (unplug 30 seconds, plug back in)
  2. Make sure the ethernet cable is snug at both ends
  3. If it drops at the same time every day, tell us — it could be a tower issue

If the POE light is red, call us right away.

What if there's a service outage?

If you're suddenly offline and the POE light is red or off, call our emergency line — we're here 24/7 for outages. We monitor our towers remotely, but we always want to know when customers are down so we can act fast. Sign up for our referral program to get a $25 credit if an outage lasts more than 24 hours.

Do you offer a service level agreement?

Our Business plan includes a 99.9% uptime SLA. If we fall below that threshold in a given month, you'll receive a credit on your next bill. Residential plans don't include a formal SLA, but we treat every outage seriously and work to restore service as quickly as possible.
